Deke Castleman
Deke Castleman began his career as an editor and author at travel-guide publisher Moon Publications in 1979. When he wrote Nevada Handbook in 1986, Deke collided with the gambling business. A few years later, He teamed up with Las Vegas-based Huntington Press and has been producing gambling books ever since, including one that he wrote himself, Whale Hunt in the Desert. He has also contributed to various travel guides about Las Vegas and Nevada and has written and edited for numerous gaming-industry magazines and websites.
