New York’s eight mobile sportsbooks went on an unprecedented rampage, posting $96 million in revenue for the week ending Jan. 18, according to the state’s gaming commission report released Thursday.
The figure shattered the previous record of close to $81 million set the week ending Dec. 7, and marked the seventh time weekly winnings topped $70 million. Caesars was the lone operator not to have a top-three, all-time revenue haul and FanDuel again furthered the state record for operator winnings with $43.1 million.
| Week Ending | Revenue | Hold Percentage |
|---|---|---|
| JAN. 18, 2026 | $96,005,592 | 17.61% |
| Dec. 7, 2025 | $80,972,677 | 14.49% |

| Nov. 9, 2025 | $70,075,628 | 11.64% |
The 17.6% hold also was an all-time high, outdistancing the 15.4% win rate from the week ending Oct. 15, 2023. It was only the third time in 211 weeks of mobile betting in the Empire State operators posted a collective hold of 15% or better.
Operators got a boost from the Buffalo Bills losing 33-30 in overtime on Saturday to the Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Rams failing to cover a 4-point spread in their 20-17 road overtime win over the Chicago Bears.
The $545.1 million handle, fueled largely by the NFL Divisional Playoffs round, was down 8.2% from the same week in 2025. Revenue, however, surged 40.6%, as the hold was 6.1 percentage points higher.
The state claimed close to $49 million in tax revenue from its 51% levy.

The smashing week for the house also marked the first time since the state launched mobile betting in January 2022 that every operator had a double-digit hold. Win rates ranged from 10.9% for BetMGM to an eye-watering 21.7% for FanDuel, which easily topped its previous revenue high of $39.9 million set the week ending Dec. 7.
DraftKings had its second-best week at $32.3 million, trailing only the $36.5 million it accumulated the week ending May 12, 2024. TheScore Bet ($1.5 million) and Bally Bet ($616,081) also posted all-time highs, with theScore’s winnings the second-most among the three operators to hold that license when including predecessors WynnBET and ESPN Bet.
It is the third time in the five years mobile wagering has been available in New York that the all-time revenue record was set during the NFL Divisional round of the playoffs. In 2022, operators claimed $43.2 million in the third week of betting.
The following year, a 12.8% hold led to $57.5 million in winnings. The public limited the house to a 9.7% win rate and $47.5 million in 2024 before operators regrouped to win $68.3 million last year, their third-best total at the time.
